New projects to the Differences Initiative

Two additional awareness projects related to the Differences the awareness initiative to challenges awareness and attitude towards a person with invisible difficulties.

Don't demonise people with Autism
An Autism Challenge project linking visual art in an abstract form which challenges attitudes from some section of society and to show awareness of the obstacles of consequences if an individual with autism gets constant treated badly. Using abstract objects and typographic messages address different situations how treating people autism can cause harm to their lives and society as a whole. The aim its for society to move away from stereotypes and treat them part of society rather than separate & reject them. A total of six design created to highlight the various issues.

Avoid the first response
(to educate people to move away from natural instincts towards people with differences is not always the best way if you you have lack of knowledge)
A creative campaign related awareness project to challenge and change how society responses towards people with mental health and invisible difficulties. (Even of that person chose not to share this). People with hidden difficulties can struggle or face obstacles which many people take for granted. The object is to move on from blames and putdowns and threatening language and the kind of reaction which is destructive and is not beneficial for any one. Also people with hidden difficulties are human and how their difficulty to compromise their dignity and human rights. A total of four designs using typography as the main communication aspect.

Both projects was first displayed on my personal facebook page on both poster ans display formats with lots of encouraging responses.

Both projects are design to stop punishing or blaming a personal with their hidden difficulties as they are born with it and have to live it for the rest of their lives. There is a possibility of extending both projects with new projects in the future.
