Part of major album cover for a Hip-Hop legend

A photoshoot featuring me  has become an album cover for one of a major names in hip-hop music. This for Diamond D's record selling album "The Diapeace". The album cover featuring me was photographed & designed by the director of king of the Beats Pritt Kalsi was a winner of a album cover worldwide competition set by Diamond D's & D.I.T.C records. The design is featured worldwide on various music formats vinyl, downloads, MP3 & onto CD.

This record selling album was completely sold out within the first few weeks of release.

To celebrate the album launch a limited edition T-shirt which. Displays the featured album cover for Diamond D

The album itself has collaborations with some if biggest & respected names in hip-hop. This includes: Pharoache Minch, Pete Rock, A.G, Nottz, Guilty Simpson, DJ Hi-tek, chino XL, Masta Ace, Raposody, Black Thought. Fat Joe and many more.
The album cover is featured online on webpages & video promos several music reviews around the world including: all hip hop, amazon, Kevin Nottingham, underground Hip-hop, XXL Magazine, iTunes, Hip-Hop Wired, Yahoo, Fat beats records, Juno Records, Vevo, Xclusive Jams, MTV and many more.

Diamond D
The legendary Hip-Hop producer & artists from the Bronx, New York and member if the affiliated team Diggin in the Creates (D.I.T.C) which features some of the big names in underground hip hop scene including: O.C, Show & AG, Big L, Fat Joe, Buckwild and Lord Finesse. Diamond D produces the music for all of the D.I.T.C members along with other artists including Brand Nubian, Cypress Hill, KRS One, Torae,  Dialated Peoples & Big Rec
Diamond D own material has created his own an unique style and flavour. He has made 6 albums over the past twenty and this album will be his 7th.

Pritt Kalsi
A film make maker, designer, creative artist, DJ, Producer and an event organiser. His prime achievement is centred round the unique beat making challenge King of the Beats. This project ranges from a film documentary, record label, music videos and live events.

Keith Mckenzie
A designer and a participant of the project King Of the Beats including filming and behind the scene preparations. In addition developed a family of awareness projects affecting individuals with invisible difficulties.

A summary of a number of developments which related to participation has occurred

Conference Photographer
I participated at a international conferences on autism awareness as an event photographer. This took place near the Edgbaston cricket ground in south Birmingham. The event featured key speakers from round the world including Wendy Lawson from Australia and Maureen Bennie from Canada. This was developed by the midlands based support organisation Studio 3 in conjunction with Autism Inclusion which provides support, training & signposting services. 

Clothing Photographer & Modelling
I was a photographer & modelling for a family of branded street clothing launched within 2014. This was for King of the Beats & Diggers clothing created by the director of king of the beats Pritt Kalsi.

Modelling for a music album cover
I become part of a major hip-hop album in 2014. I was featured on a photoshoot which became an album cover for Diamond D's record selling album "The Dia Peace" Photographed & designed by Director of King of the Beats Pritt Kalsi. The design was a winner of an international competition organised by Diamond D & his record label D.I.T.C. The album became record selling when it was sold out within the first few weeks of release.

Activity/Active round up












A summary of a number of events which has I have attended so far:

Myself and my friend the director of King of the Beats Pritt Kalsi had an special opportunity to have behind the scenes & backstage access with three of the most legendary artists in the hip-hop music scene in the past 40 years. The artists includes Public Enemy and DJ Chuck Chill out when they was performing live at the Tramlines festival in Sheffield and the Jungle Brothers when they performed in Birmingham at the famous music venue, The "Hare & Hounds" in South Birmingham's King's Heath district.

I have attended a number if events & festivals in 2014.
This includes Chinese New Year's "Year of the Horse" celebrations at Arcadian leisure complex and international street art festival "City of Colours" both events in central Birmingham. During my experience at the Tramlines Festival with Public Enemy, I experienced other music live performance from the group juice.

Images was taken from an special outdoor event. In September Birmingham celebrated 100 years of buses with a displaying buses from the past, present to future bus designs to appear around the city.

Outdoor scenery images taken round all the seasons of Winter, spring, summer & autumn at various locations including parks and street side.
