King of the Beats the music beat challenge was staging an end of year party, it took place on Saturday 20th November at the Vibe Bar at the east end of London. My involvement for the preparations including distributing promotional flyers round London 2 weeks earlier especially at the Vibe Bar and Brick Lane near the Spitialfields shopping and markets area. Other preparations include informing the event online via various ways. Posted general information on selected hip-hop forums based in the UK. I made regular reminders and updates on the social networking sites Facebook and Twitter. I also cross-promote any useful links leading to the event. With general information on the networking site Tumblr. I wrote a general article on the independent hip-hop music website Sensei fm. In addition a detailed article on the Plus website which contain details of the contenders to take part on November 20th.

King of the Beats, is a music challenge project on video and at live events to create new instrumental sounds from a limited budget. The project and webpages on www.kingofthebeats.com and on its facebook page has received increasing creditability from music artists from round the world and in particular the underground true-school Hip-Hop scene.
