My involvement with King of the Beats DJ Club nights

(including the events "Party Groove" & "DJ Soundclash")

Events associated with the music project King of the Beats has evolved to a new series of club nights during the autumn months of 2011. It started with Party Groove a night which inspired from new york city with the zulu nation from the 1970's & 1980's. The nights mixes quality music from past and present and selected Dj's in the mix. Tis ranges from Soul, funk, hip-Hop, disco and boogie.

The night began in October at the Venue Hare & Hounds in the King's Heath ares of Birmingham.  Party groove returned in November as part of the Dj Tour from Birmingham to London. The London event taked places at the Vibe bar at Shoreditch. It is titled "DJ Soundclash" where a number of different DJ's battle against each other in the mix. The selection of music was similar to the party groove but with more selection true school quality end of the hip-hop spectrum and classic funk.

The DJ's appeared from both events are from the regular King of the Beats team and former King of the beats contenders along with special guests.

My involvement includes marketing with distributing posters and flyers at selected locations both events in both London and Birmingham. On the event day i help setting up and assist and any actions which needs to be done behind the scenes. During the event i was at the merchandise desk for visiting clubbers to buy King of the beats branded sweatshirts and record singles.
