New Year Creative & online feature

The annual online feature featuring a special creative project for the New Year is now online.

Special online Feature
Now in its 5th year my special online feature for the New Year features photography and creativity. Presented in a brand new look and for the first time this online feature is responsive and it is compatible to mobile & tablet devices as well as desktop & laptop computers.  It includes a collection of Winter themed photography, web links to a full collection over on Google+ and Google Photos, the highlights on 2016 in developments & achievements and features my creative project for the New Year

2016 Highlights

Creative
A new style creative project which combines, leisure & lifestyle. The Fever project combines photography and visual art.
A major design development year with my awareness initiate “Plus Value Awareness’ after a year long research, feedback and design development before completing anew family of awareness projects.

A series of Showcase projects including the patented sphere theme and spin off special projects for Easter, Summer and the Autumn season.

Awareness
My initiative Plus Value Awareness has been completely transformed 2 years after it was created. This was after a year long developments including research, feedback and design development before creative a new style family of awareness projects. This includes brand new projects such as “value is” and “is this the right value?"

As part of completing the new style projects to my style awareness projects shared to selected people for additional feedback. 

To spread the word of “Plus Value Awareness” I attended several events includes Social Enterprise networking sessions and autism awareness events. This includes attending the Autism Show event organised by National Autistic Society. As part of the event i attended a special seminar hosted by celebrity music couple Carrie & David Grant. I was one of many people on asking questions after their talk presentation on the issues on their efforts to maintain the best education with their teenage children who has Autism. Later had an opportunity to talk to they was both interested with the types of project I'm developing for “Plus Value Awareness" and gave me some advice.

Participation
I assisted in filming a line up of legendary Hip-Hop performances at London’s Forum at Kentish Town. The artists includes from the America’s East Coast KRS One and DJ Premier and London’s very own legendary DJ Cutmaster Swift and 279.  

An part of attending of the U.K’s biggest Salsa Music convention festival I assisting I setting up the flooring, sound system and the furniture for the event “Motion City” at Hilton Metropole Hotel at the NEC near Birmingham.

Active
Attended number of festivals related to music, visual & reforming arts.
The second City of Colours event happened in Central Birmingham combining street art with live breakdancing showcase & competitions. The first evert "B-sides" Hip-Hop festival  a weekend long event combing graffiti art, breakdancing and live Hip-Hop performances.

After a 4 years break the "Flyover show" returns featuring "Sweto Kinch" and a line-up of performances covering different music genres 

Attended selected concerts including Hip-Hop artists Smiff “n” Wesson, DJ Supreme with Curoc and The Mouse Outfit

 with a variety of live DJ’s include Nightmares on Wax, A Guy called Gerald, Grahame Park, Giles Peterson, Harvey Sutherland, Sean Mcabe, Feel my Bicep, Grant Nelson, Birmingham’s very own DJ Spaara (The two times DMC UK mixing Champion) and many more. In addition attended cladding events covering different music genre including Hip-Hop, Soul, funk through to house music organised by Funkademia (Manchester), Leftfoot, Subway City, Soul Fusion, Wobble, Sweat, Bruk up and Enter the Dragon. I also attended the Rainbow Warehouse’s special New Years Day party.

Attended more Salsa related events & festivals and social events  in 2016 than any pervious  year. Festivals including “Motion City” (one of the U.K’s largest Salsa music convention & festival), “Salsa all day festival & Valentines Ball”, "The Latin American Festival. I also attended salsa social events from Latinmotion, Smooth Salsa, Picante and the V.I.P salsa ball events. This is together with a regular session from the live salsa band "Del Camino"

I have made photographic & mobile captures on some of the events mention in addition locations such as the NEC pavilion at night and the Peace Padgoda gardens in Milton Keynes

It mark the end of 2016 I will attend for the very first time to Latinmotion's annual New Year event. Now in its 22nd year the event has become bigger expanding over two days on both New Years Eve & New Years Day. The event has a combination of special workshops, live dance performances and social parties. Located at the NEC near Birmingham. 

Involvement
Months before Birmingham City Council redesigned it website I attended their consultation on feedback and the effective way to make their initial idea better before the website became live for the general public. I made several points based on clarity, legibility and the importance user friendly countering variating abilities from all types of society.

General
My website has being transformed for the first time in 4 years. The  completed the website to be 100% compatible onto Mobile & tablet devices as well as desktop & laptop computers.

In preparation of developing social enterprise a social umbrella parent name & identity was developed currently presented under “Plus Value Fusion”. As special website was developed and information materials. The Plus Value fusion is design to cover all types of service and projects. This includes my focus skills such as creative and participation also there “Plus Value Awareness initiative” and “Differences & Autism Challenge"

New style publications was developed to share my developments & achievement in total new ways such as a family of digital portfolios.

New style Awareness invitation



An online invitation has started for everyone to the new family awareness project.

A special page was created on the Plus Value Awareness website to introduce at total of 6 new style awareness projects. This is promoted from the Plus awareness social media pages on Facebook, Twitter and Google+  Some are brand new and others of new updates version of projects. 

The new style projects was made after 6 months of research, feedback and design developments followed be creating new content online. The new changes also includes and new updated brand identity for Plus Value Awareness. 


The new changes was aimed to more be more clearer and more appealing on the issues & topics.

Notice to editors:
The Plus Value Awareness initiative is developed & designed by Keith Mckenzie with a unique approach to awareness project for independent young people and adults with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Social Anxiety.

To approach project is to address the issues based on ground levels experiences and to move ficus on the human aspects rather than the medical aspects. The project is aim towards a better sense of value with Invisible difficulties.

An important name change notice for enterprise




The umbrella brand identity on developments & services for social enterprise its changing its name. So from now on the brand name is changed to Plus Value Fusion

The reason of the change is because the previous name using the name "Plus Value Enterprise" is already used as a business therefore could risk facing legal problems.
The website and blog update will display the new name however the content & information will remain exactly the same.

The new “Plus Value Fusion” name changes will also apply to all associated focused website including Plus Value Awareness, Differences & Autism Challenge and the focused services My main website

The website address for enterprise will remain the same for the time being. But will update you on developments on any website address changes.



The name changes will gradually appear as a footer on my main website and blog update and the associated websites

Special creative design & online feature for Christmas



The annual online feature featuring a special creative project for Christmas is now online.

Special online Feature

This years theme is radiated elements, a integrated design which features an abstract glass tree along with 4 visual elements associated with christmas with floating colour shapes with a winter snow background. Major changes affecting the main website


My main website is going through major changes. The website is currently converting all pages to 100℅ responsive. When completed all pages will be fully compatible to all devices onto mobile & tablet devices as well as desktop & laptop computers. 

Most of the pages on the website will remain unchanged as it is now. However certain pages will gradually be moved to directions sections or replaced as part of a total new page. This is part of a on-going development process of restructuring the main website as part of transformation project. 

You may start to notice a new enhance look with new style banners and template pages and link also background images & additional colours as a background. Thus will enhance the appearance and will gradually start to appear especially with index pages & specialised pages and blog pages.

During the process of converting every page to responsive format you may notice some images & page templates may appear oversized when viewing from mobile devices for a temporary time until every page images & templates are modified to be fully responsive.

More examples added to the newly launched awareness project



A total of 7 more elements added to the Plus Value Awareness project called “Value is”.
The project emphasising the important aspect of the word “Value” and they importance of people with invisible difficulties to have the right of a good sense of value.

Dignity respected
The important aspect to defence their sense of value

Inclusion
The essential point that a person with invisible difficulty must be an inclusive ember of society

Not-tight boxed
Discouraging making categorising and typecasting attitudes and assumptions

Adjustment respected
To respect any adjustment a person with invisible difficulty has to do for sustainability.

Expressions and experiences heard & respected
To not use a person with invisible difficulties to undermine their expression or experiences

Sharing good practice
To encourage achievers and role models with invisible difficulties to share their expertise to encourage more achievers



Well represented
To enough smarter understanding and knowledge to prevent misperceptions 

All the additional elements will contain background information along with main points and online tips.

With the additional content this project now has a total of 13 elements.

New style awareness project added





Further examples of the new style projects has been added to the Plus Value Awareness website since the initiative received an revamped look.
This includes brand new project and new style version of existing projects since the initiative started back in 2015

An information project against harmful attitudes associated with bullying, prejudice and abuse attitudes

An introduction summary on the key points which makes up the initiative. With variations liked with the primary awareness brands “Value all”, “Valued more” & “Value icons”

Encouraging people with invisible difficulties to achieve more to move forward better.

* Advantage
A summary of informing who people with invisible is an inclusive advantage to everyone in society

Take responsibility
A project encouraging people with invisible to make a number of measures to reduce negative situation to occur against them from hate crime through to discrimination.

In addition the recent added project “Value is” has expanded further with more elements added including “Dignity Protected”, “Expressions and experiences respected”, “Sharing good practice”, “Inclusion”, “Not tight boxed”, :”well represented” and “Adjustments respected”

Additional materials has been added including online tips and “Lifelinks” guides. 
The new style Plus Value Awareness projects has been was developed after several months of feedback & comments along with design developments.

A family of new style awareness project launched



The first of the new style awareness projects for Plus Value Awareness Initiative is now available online.
The "Value is" project is designed to emphasises the importance of value for people with invisible difficulties. The objective is to move away from the stereotypes and negative perception via popular view points and news reports. Instead encouraging others to see a different perspectives beyond what they don’t see with young people and adults with invisible difficulties.

This project has starts with six elements areas:

Pride
Period ties invisible difficulties should not be defined by their labels and should not made to feel ashamed in society

Natural & Authentic
Focusing on how people with invisible difficulties should be able to function in society naturally with pressures which causes unfair uneasiness

Equality
Fairness & opportunities needs to induces people with invisible difficulties

Diversity
People with invisible difficulties should be part of diverse society and not to excluded.

Ambition
To be aware that people with invisible difficulties have ambitions and drive to move forward in society.

A sense of purpose
A person with invisible difficulty has a right to have a sense of purpose and belonging.


Within each element you will view a detailed background with insight along with tips & guidelines. In addition to develop marketing design and you can able to view some examples into a poster format. Examples from this project can be develop further onto different format from clothing, printed postcard, printed mugs and many more.
Further elements is planned be added to this project in the future. In addition more detailed guides to be developed with focused versions with the focused life groups*.  This projects is also planned to be customised as a services for ogrnanations, communities, business and the rest of society.

Introducing two new blog features





Two new blog features are now launched.

Active Plus
An online blog features the current collection on image galleries of events, festivals, places of interest and entertainment. It will also cover focused insight articles and creative projects which featured the collection of images featured in this blog. Certain content will have link to more detailed images galleries on social media profiles on Flickr & Google+.
Further content will gradually appear and in the long term will replace the Plus Lifestyle website

Filming participation for legendary names in Hip-Hop


My self along with the director of King of the Beats records & films Pritt Kalsi participated with a filming for the legendary Hip-Hop artists DJ Premier & KRS One


The filing took place in July at London’s O2 Forum located in Kentish Town. 

This was part of line up of different performers hosted by Jonzi D and Da Flyy Hooligan on the same night including the legendary UK DJ's Cutmaster Swift279 and Billy Biznizz
In addition live performers from Predator Prime along with live break dancers from different parts of the UK on stage.


The filming was used for the event promoters for their own uses.

Awareness projects revamp








Major changes to the presentation on the awareness projects develop by myself. This affects both Plus Value Awareness Initiative and Differences & Autism Challenge. 

To coincide the launch of the parent brand identity Plus Value Enterprise new changes will affect the Plus Value awareness Initiative including a new brand identity and presentation style. The outgoing Plus Value brand identity used for the Plus value Awareness Initiative (which was developed when the initiative began in April 2015) is to receive a new style brand identity and to be presented as Plus Value Awareness or the Plus Value name along with the tagline “Challenging Awareness”.


The new changes are made after feedback, comments followed by an review insight. The main points on the feedback includes a distinctiveness between the overall umbrella identity for all services for developing services and projects for business, communities and the rest of society (This includes Plus Value Awareness Initiative, Differences & Autism Challenge along with my family of projects & services including Creative & Active) This has lead to the the creation of Plus Value Enterprise as a umbrella brand identity. Meanwhile it is important to show a clear difference between the awareness initiative and the umbrella identity leading to modify the awareness brand and rename as Plus Value Awareness. The other factor is to make there brand and presentation style more appealing for campaigns for participation and support from the general public as well as improve opportunities to provides awareness projects and services for businesses communities and the rest off society.

In addition the sister awareness brand Differences & Autism Challenge has posing in a updated brand identity and presentation style. This was made due to the package of new family of services, some will be a supplement in conjunction with the Plus Value Awareness Initiative.

The new look to both Plus Value Awareness along with Differences and Autism Challenge will be phased in on a gradual basis.  

All the changes are design to make it easier for everyone to access my projects and services and to improve sustainability.

Introducing Plus Value Enterprise



A new umbrella brand name is created which my projects and services are part of.

Plus Value Enterprise is the place for business, communities and the rest of society to access a variety of services and products from one place. This is part of process in developing the services & projects towards social enterprise.


The types of services is divided into three options:

Option one is the Social Aim group of services. This includes the products and services link there awareness brands: Plus Value Awareness along with Differences & Autism Challenge. 

Option Two focuses on trading projects featuring my projects and services from creative, through to active and participation.

Option three is a combination of trading & social aim services. With flexibility on how to access the coined option.


The Plus Value Enterprise website is now available online & to expand further online with new Plus Value Enterprise social media profiles coming soon on Facebook, Twitter and Linked-in. (This is different from some of my existing social media profiles).

Summer spin-off presentation design



The Pattern Sphere presented design projects continues to a spin-off version for the Summer season.

This features a modified sphere centre design into a abstract transparent shape combined with digital art, illustration and photography images.

This is developed with a generic and specific version ranging from TasteNaturalFunCool & Heat.

Further version will be developed combining creative project along with photography, creative quotes. 



This project was part of a family of “Showcase” [project to demonstrate creative skills & abilities beyond projects for clarinets part & present. These are mainly used for promotional & information purposes onto printed materials, social media and online.

Networking at a national awareness event

Spreading the word of the Plus Value Awareness for third time and was networking at one of the UK’s biggest autism awareness events.

The Autism show is an annual event takes place at the U.K's three largest cities including at London, Birmingham and Manchester. This event is organised be the charity The National Autistic Society along with variety for several organisations. The event showcases a variety of awareness services of all kinds and for organisation to showcase how the can improve the lives of people with the autism spectrum.

I attended the Birmingham event at the NEC. During my visit, I have talked to various participants. This to find out what they do and the services they provide or their person insight on autism. At the same time I had the opportunity to share the Plus Value awareness initiative projects and campaigns and whats being planned
The highlights include.”

Willard Wigan MBE
An insight in his micro-sculpture work and project

Autism West Midlands and the Autism Alliance 
Finding out about a unique social media concept “Autism Connect” linking families, organisations, communities and for individuals in the autism spectrum

Carrie and David Grant
Sharing their insights and experiences with their two autistic daughters and how they trying to change the education system to make sure their daughters are rightly supported and encouraged.

“A2ndvoice”
A connecting organisation linking diversity and local communities including people in the autistic spectrum.

Research Autism
The organisation who provide a variety of information in issues affecting people in Autism
I had the opportunity to speak informally to the individuals and organisations featured above and was received encouraging feedback on the Plus Value Awareness initiate are sharing on the overall plan and outcome

Awareness design development
















A 4-month design & presentation & content development has been made to take the Plus Value Awareness Initiative to the next stage of progress 

This was developed after refining a variety of feedback and comments. This lead to a change of design & presentation to make sure the message gets across easier and for enable the general public to support the initiative also for the public to get involved and participate in any featured projects.

The key features includes and new updated brand identities for the Plus Value Awareness Initiative and its sister awareness brands Differences & Autism Challenge. Also a new parent identity for developing enterprise. A new information and marketing presentation style and a new family of awareness projects campaigns and information materials

A special digital document was presented previewing the new design approach and has been shared with positive feedback.

The new design approach to be phased into the Plus Value Awareness website as well as the new style projects, campaigns and information guides.

Special Awareness blueprint document developed

















A special document was developed for the Plus Value Awareness Initiative. 

A blueprint document called “Sense of Value” is an insight in how the initiative are being developed.
It contained research on experiences which affect different moderate ability & mental health related conditions with related to invisible difficulties. It shows how they are affected as their place with society attitudes. In addition explain the gaps which prevents a person with invisible difficulties to move forward and how this initiative and help change this.

This document is a blueprint for future products, services & information documents are developed. In addition a family of Plus Value projects and campaigns are being developed under the same title “Sense of Value” focusing on topics and issues which affects the lives of people with invisible difficulties. Eventually this will become part of presentation for education training and presentation workshops.

This has been initially shared to certain sections of society and as part of an enterprise training application with the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
A special extra angle version was also developed linked with the sister awareness brands “Differences & Autism Challenge” containing a specific perspective and life experiences a strength the case why the Plus value Awareness needs to be developed


A light version of the Sense of Value document in plan to developed and plan to be available online in the future.

Awareness round-up update

A number of developments has been taken place behind the scenes including:

* A detailed insight document was created as a blueprint to the awareness initiative brands Plus Value along with Differences & Autism Challenge. From this a numbers of services and products can be developed. This contained research, and insight on society attitudes, issues and solutions as well the purpose.

* An application over a four month period has been developed to incorporate the plus value awareness initiative and the proposed wider services for enterprise for the School of entrepreneurs. This including written preparation to answer the required information. As research was needed for application lead to the development of the blueprint document sense of value. This lead to extremely positive feedback from the main team.

* Attended serval networking events when entrepreneurs sharing their insight in developing their social enterprises including their social aim element.

* An investigation & developments over a two month period with preparation on how branding and presentation my awareness initiative brands "Plus Value" along with "Differences & Autism Challenge" could be improved after initial feedback and mixed comments on the initial perception. After this took place, a further two more months to develop the new style design presentation and branding strategy including marketing and information. The purpose was to improve effective communicate on the Initiative projects and the variety of services in preparation for enterprise.

A new online feature beyond specific skills & services

A new online feature enabling to access my developments & achievements in a different way.
The new “One vision many possibilities”; feature is primarily developed as online introduction and to access the content online and my family of publications. It is also used for promotional purposes to have a different take on showing developments & achievements. 





This feature is to move away from focused categories such as creative & awareness and instead it presented under the keyword title areas such as  “Highlight”, “Capture”, “Display”.
Instead of limited on whats been developed under conventional skills area such as creative & awareness.

The aim is to show my projects and achievements without limited to a number of skills and services. The aim is to encourage people viewing this feature to move away from limited skills and look at the possibility of what’s possible on projects and services beyond the focused of skill areas.

This feature covers three key areas including:

Display
This focusing on creative and visual related projects covering graphic design creative photography.

Highlight
Focusing on gym more projects and sealants come in different areas of skills and abilities.

Capture
Image based projects covering creative & active related photography.

As part of this new feature a new family of “one vision…”; branded publications and downloads will be available directly upon request.

Further content to be added on a gradual basis.

Examples from the One Vision online feature will be highlighted on to social media, informing a summary of a group of achievements and projects beyond focused skill areas. Watch out for the “one vision..”; branding appearing on some of my existing along with new social media pages to arrive during the year.

Background Information
The “One Vision many possibilities” name was originally displayed on to the information sheet publication in recent years featuring the virtual eye design. This led to the idea of exploring ways to highlight achievements beyond the unlimited skills areas as a online feature which lead to develop this new feature today. The virtual eye design used alongside the One Vision many possibilities name has been developed further now as a main logo on all materials online and on printed materials.

A new family of publications & downloads has been developed and is now available online or via request

This is part of the transformation project demonstrating new ways in sharing my developments & achievements. In addition these new publications are linked to a brand new online feature “One vision, many possibilities” to displayed developments and achievements beyond focused on number of skills and abilities.
